FH Admin’s Note : Corporal Jesse Macbeth’s video has become controversial. Journalistic integrity demands that I publish this clarification note. The readers must read the following story with caution now. I do, however, stand by my sentiment in the article regarding the US occupation of Iraq in particular and the Neocons’ onslaught on the Muslim world in general. The article, therefore, will stay.
Scream!!!!!

Watch this twenty minutes video. Hear this confession from a former killer who got tired of killing after his humanity finally woke up in him. This is what so many of us have been shouting from the rooftops for so long now. Watch it and then decide you want to whimper, cry or scream, but watch it you must.
Watch and cry over the American slaughter of innocent human beings.
Watch and cry over dead mothers holding dead children clinging to their bloodied bosoms. Try imagining their final moments in their death throes if your tears are not welling up.
Watch and cry over innocent children whose brains were scattered by American rifles from close quarters. Imagine your own if you don’t have tears for the Iraqi children.
Watch and cry for it is each one of you Americans who have so far paid US $3,330 per household to ensure the smooth going of this genocide. Watch and decide whether you want to continue to pay for this slaughter.
Watch and cry over your impotent rage for you were informed all along what was happening in Iraq. You cannot pretend ignorance of the round-the-clock carnage going on in Iraq even now.
Watch and cry for you were told at the very beginning of this war that, “the fact is that a ghastly drama is being witnessed by the bleeding, lacerated dawns of Iraq. The fact is that America’s sacred cowboys are once again busy doing a liberation job hoping to ride off into the sunset after a job well done. The fact is that as their jets scream away from the blood drenched Iraqi deserts, their compatriots on ground are kicking their way through the decomposing Iraqi corpses, slashing with their bayonets through the walls of meat that stand in defiance of their masters’ vision for Iraq. The fact is that they are indeed in a hurry to get back home to pursue the American dream yet least worried that they will one day be answerable to the misshapen children of Iraq. The fact is that this is any thing but a war of liberation.
For the moment the liberators don’t care. They seem oblivious to the fact that when they do go back they will be carrying with them the dust and the blood, the fear and the loathing of a brutally maimed people. That the trauma they inflicted upon Iraq will live and grow on them too and will feed on their souls like only such demons do. That a sure accompaniment in their duffel sacks on their return journeys will be the mincemeat carcasses of their own innocent selves and certainly some plastic bags containing the remains of the American Dream.”
Watch and cry for you were repeatedly reminded that, “as America sinks deeper into the heart of darkness, its thinking citizens need to jolt each other out of their apathy. With each passing day their beloved America is scaling ever greater heights of hideous glories. The man in charge, George W. Bush, is actually living the throes of his apocalyptic dream of “I am become death-the destroyer of the worlds”. He codenamed his destruction of Fallujah as “Operation Phantom Fury”. But as the falsehood dies and gives way to truth, as all lies must one day, it will be the Iraqi dead that will form a legion of phantoms and would throng around Americans in a macabre dance to haunt them for decades. The fury of those phantoms will be hair-raising.
Fallujah will enter history as the place where US imperialism carried out an offense of heinous proportions this November, a monstrous crime far beyond any possible forgiveness. The crimson waters of the Euphrates are now emptying into the Persian Gulf the hopes and aspirations of innocent people whose lives were snuffed out on the orders of a man rewarded for his monumental crimes by his great nation.”
Watch and cry for when you were busy debating the plight of a half dead woman, one Terri Schiavo, we continually beseeched you by asking you, “why can’t you see the horrendous atrocities that the United States military is visiting upon unarmed Iraqis who never posed any danger to your beloved country? Why can’t your free media catch on its eagle eyed lens the raining cluster bombs, the showering napalms, and the tortures in the dungeons? If the BBC can broadcast an interview with a grieving Iraqi woman whose pregnant daughter had been machine-gunned by U.S. troops, why is there nothing on the US media? Why you common Americans are not out on the streets protesting the horrendous actions of your administration and the sinister complicity of your media? Would you show the same stoic indifference if a couple of tons of depleted uranium are shot up the New York alleys? Go talk of Schiavo’s right to live or die.
Where was your concern for human misery when the death toll in Iraq shot past the 100,000 mark? Where were your tears of human compassion when Fallujah was razed to the ground and its citizens-men, women and children alike-gunned down by the valiant American troops and left on the streets for dogs to feed on? Go talk of Schiavo’s right to live or die.
Where are the free American media and their kind hearted patrons when their G.I. Joes are pumping up Iraq with depleted uranium, napalm bombs, cluster munitions and poisonous gases even as these lines are being written? Is death less camera-friendly in Iraq or is it less worthy of the Americans’ attention? Are Iraqis children of a lesser god? Go talk of Schiavo’s right to live or die. ”
Watch and cry for you were foretold that, “dead men will dance again in the streets of Baghdad, Tikrit and other Iraqi cities, but with a difference. Not very far away this time, American GIs singing the Star-Spangled Banner will replace the Afghan Rubabs and drums. The dead men, though, will not be able to tell the difference. For dead men may dance but they cannot hear.”
The only thing you were not told is that it would not be just dead men. It would, in fact, be dead men, women and children.
Watch and decide for the demons have now started to come home. And if you do want to cry then let it not be in sniveling, timid sobs. Let it be a gut wrenching scream that should form in the very deep recesses of your souls and escape as a shreiking howl of pain.
Scream!!!!
Scream for the killer confesses that, “when we were doing the night raids in the houses, we would pull people out and have them all on their knees and zip-tied. We would ask the man of the house questions. If he didn’t answer the way we liked, we would shoot his youngest kid in the head. We would keep going, this was our interrogation. He could be innocent. He could be just an average Joe trying to support his family. If he didn’t give us a satisfactory answer, we’d start killing off his family until he told us something. If he didn’t know anything, I guess he was SOL.”
Scream for he admits that, “she was begging me, begging me to save her and to save her kids, but, I didn’t you know. I wanted to be , ah, I killed them. You know?”
Scream for he is just one of over a 100,000 American soldiers present in Iraq whose conscience finally broke through the strangling hold of lies his soul was straightjacketted into.
Scream if you can imagine the scale of barbarity if even one-tenth of them follow the lead of Private Jessie Macbeth, the confessor.
Scream for what is being done even now in Iraq in your name and what is being planned for Iran in the very near future.
Scream!!!!!

FH Admin’s Note : My heartfelt thanks to American soldier Jessie Macbeth for speaking out the truth—-finally. Jessie Macbeth, I feel, is a giant of a man for his lesser comrades continue to remain seized in the mad frenzy that their lying murderous leaders have brought upon them.
